A Great Place to Practice

Be sure to visit our practice facility at Riverside Golf Course to warm up before you play. Riverside is also a great place to come and practice.

One of the best parts about practicing at Riverside is that our 30 stall range, with grass and mat hitting stations, is fully lighted. In the heat of summer, you can hit balls after the sun goes down. You will also appreciate our early morning hours. This is a place where you can practice on the way to work or on the way home.

Start with some wedge shots and work your way up through the clubs in your bag for about 20 to 30 minutes when you are warming up. If you are playing a round after your practice, try "playing" the first few holes by imagining the first fairway and hitting a drive; then pretend you're hitting your approach shot to the first green, and so forth.

We have two chipping greens for you to practice your scoring shots and a practice bunker to get you ready for sand saves. Spend about 15 to 20 minutes on these shots and you know you will improve your scoring out on the course.

We also have two practice putting greens so you can get the feel of our greens before you arrive at the first green during your round. If you are playing, be sure to spend 10 to 15 minutes working on putts of different lengths and remember to hole out each putt.
